MAKRO / ONLINE CHECKOUT PROCESS

Makro’s online store had a high shopping cart abandonment percentage. The brief was to improve and streamline the checkout process. The first step was to ensure the checkout process is mobile friendly with a collapsable website interface for tablet and mobile users. Progress indicators were introduced to let the buyer know where he/she is in the process. Products were also colour coded according to promotions and deals and less information is required to make a purchase. The outcome is a quicker and more satisfying checkout experience.
